Why isn't the word ****** bleeped out on TV?

****** isn't a term for any specific race. It's definition is "ignorant," so technically it's not a swear word or anything like that. Really it's not even deragatory, over time it has just come to be that way.

Mi media class teacher in HS told us that there is a list of safe-words that you can use after 10pm in any time zone. "******" is one of those words.

Though I remember watchin ROOTS and other historical movies that were filled with that word in Elementary School.....hmmm.

I have met white people who are more of a "******" than anyone. It really wasn't coined as a derogatory term, nor was it meant to be used to describe a certain race of people. People should be treated how they act, regardless of race.

This is not true. The FCC recently overturned it's original ruling and deemed Bono saying on a live award show, "This is fucking brilliant" obscene.

In all honesty, it depends on their attitude. One of my best friends is black, and we've had many discussions about this type of thing.
