Hey Genius, separate yourself from Match.com for just a minute and re-read the title of this thread, " I Earned Some Serious Karma Points this morning - and it felt great!!!"

Doing something for other benefits them but it also benefits you. I didn't come here and say I fed a bunch of homeless crackheads because they were hungry. No, I said that I paid for breakfast because it made me FEEL LIKE I was repaying them for something they did for me.

Please, read the entire thread before posting your drivel. I know post counts are important and all but making yourself look like an ass in the process is just unacceptable.

As far as you, MrJackMeHoff...I'm used to conversating with adults so you can move along now. http://www.acidflyers.com/tv/gifs/fucksign.gif

Oh yeah is that why you called me an assclown? haha

I too had a good kharma day-

I met with my ex gf who is frsh out of rehab-
Both her and her father , who I had not met before met me and both hugged me and thanked me all afternoon for saving her life-

I must say at first I felt very non deserving of this praise- but after seeing their tears and hearing the heartache from her father I just simply wept all the way home.

I had been feeling very down lately and have a lot going on in my life- but today's words and hugs showed me that I did something good for someone and got recognized for it-

I have been in this industry too long.... I know this because i have helped people build their companies and made a lot of people rich and never got a thank you from any of them. In fact most of the time I got fucked over.

I have always said that my good kharma would come to help me someday- It's just too bad I had two great friends die who I tried to help just as much...

Well at least I saved someones life, I pulled a woman out of a bad car wreck once and saved her, it's just too damn bad she didn't have the courtesy to call me and thank me.

KHARMA- Believe in it, I am going to play the lottery now :-))

hey genius, you didn't do it to repay them and make yourself feel good.

you did it so you could tell gfy, your friends and family members and girls at bars what a great guy you are.

i buy friends omlettes, i buy girls omlettes, and i kick pleanty to good charities. do i need to tell everyone about it and how great i am for it?

no...

your using the situation for personal glory is 100x worse than not picking up their tab to begin with. if they saw this thread, they'd change that salute around to include only a middle finger.

I went ahead an paraphrased your response in order to make it more legible to our everyday poster.

My father retired after serving in the U.S. Air Force for 35 years. My entire life I spent on miliatary bases. If you think I have no respect or love for our military then you are SERIOUSLY mistaken.

GFY didn't even come into mind when I paid for their breakfasts. I posted at 11:04 am est. I get to work at 9:00 am est. If I did this all for the "draw" or the "ooohs" and "awwwws" of GFY then why didn't I post it when I first got to work? Seeing how GFY is my white whale and all..... http://www.acidflyers.com/tv/gifs/crazy.gif

Just when you thought there was one shred of humanity left in people they ALWAYS dissappoint you. It's a fact of life. :(

The first time I tried this I told the waitress I'd leave her $20.00 on my $6.00 tab if she would just tell them their breakfast had been paid for. It was really cool to watch them try to figure out who they thought had been the one to pay their bill.

I get just random people from time to time. Usually it's at breakfast, I get them when they least expect it :winkwink:

Yeah :) I anonymously paid an old womans bill who was sitting alone at a cafe last mother's day..

then again she could have hated children and never had kids, but whatever. heheh.
