Should CALIFORNIA allow unlimited Mexican immigration?

once the public services aspect of calfornia is fixed, then maybe. they come to work, but why work when you can get a free ride for having kid after kid? i live in the central valley, where most move to "work" in the fields. they come to send back money to their familys, but most of it ends up at the corner store buying budweizer.

Mexican immigrants aren't just in California, they're all over America. How could you have one state allow unlimited immigration and not others?

No, I live in California and no offense but seriously there are way to many mexicans over here. I have nothing against Mexicans but you would think they would learn English but they don't, you would think they wouldn't complain since the US in 10x better then Mexico but they do. The thing that irritates me the most is when I'm at work and I get a "habla espanol" call, I say no and then they go "Alright so how much is your club" in near perfect english. Either that or they proceed to try and talk to me in spanish, NO mean No in most languages its universal.

Who do you think owned that land in the first place. It's always pretty funny to me when Californians, Texans and other border states complain about Mexicans.

The only reason mexicans didn't end up like the Indians (which are technically the same thing) is because they fought a good fight.

I see the stats Fletch and I agree there is a problem. Unfortunately that problem cannot be fixed by trying to stop or allowing Mexicans to come over the border. That just isn't going to change for a people who historically have always been drawn to that land.

The problem can be fixed but not by focusing on stopping or freeing the flow of traffic.

No it shouldn't be allowed I say put the military in charge of the borders and we would be a safer place and would save billions of dollars not to mention the economy would be better because higher paying jobs means more spending and a much better economy. I say if somebody wants to come here earn it through a course that teaches english and pass a criminal background check.

the first offical thing they do in this country is break a law by entering the country illegally. just because its not enforced dont make it ok. and you are correct, the majority come to work, but once they learn the system, that majority goes with the free ride. work in a field all day or clean toilets or make more money watching tv, poping out kids and drinking budweizer? do you realize hispanics in my county are the majority? %56
