Internet mainstream reality websites?
I just happened to turn the tv on and see all these reality shows. Now I hate them all, I don't watch any of them infact its the reason I rarely watch tv (only the sopranos,deadwood, and the history channel). Anyway back to my point, why are there no big mainstream reality websites? It seems reality shows took off on t.v. like crazy, but I have yet to see one online (besides porn sites). What do you think?

i dont think mainstream reality would work on the internet. Youd have to get people to pay for it. Youd need to have some serious marketing power, maybe a company like yahoo or ebay could pull it off but it wouldnt be worth the risk

to be honest the whole reality style is an ever evolving genre, I dont think it will slow down, so much as become better than the sum of its parts, at this time, which is a great thing given the sheer amount of crap currently being produced.
We have pioneered the Reality style, through our www.masktv.com concept which is just now delivering its massive potential. We have been using SMS cell phone text technology to allow people to text in their sexual fantasy, and all over the UK we have peeple texting in, very detailed fantasies.....we will move into Cable and Satellite distribution, so we can widen our audience, and also offer a softer version, which you could term mainstream..... In the UK someone can win an all expenses paid trip to Vancouver BC, to have their ultimate fantasy fulfilled by our production team....something we hope to replicate globally, using the most modern technologies. We were the first adult company to offer streaming video of our fantasies over mobile phones in Europe, and now we are changing the dynamic to allow live fantasy fulfillment, with a choice of endings voted on by the public. How about that for reailty theming? we will also be launching an affiliate program based around the cell phone content in time for August Internext. |
