if you aren't a high asset investor or an institution with the underwriting banks, then your only chances to get in on the IPO are with knowing an investment banker at any of the firms that can grease you in, usually the leading investment banking firms that are underwriting the security (morgan stanley & credit suisse), but theres multiple banks taking smaller roles in the underwriting.

This stock is shit. Only folks that get in on the IPO will make the real money, and the shorters/derivative traders will rape the shit out of idiots buying the stock in the open market. Mark my words.

unless your a financial institution or a huge broker company you basically have zero chance to get into the IPO....just buy on the first day...but the price would probably have spiked by then.

It all depends on what Google branches out to do after they go public.

As the boys said earlier the IPO's stand to make the big killing. The only way a small time investor stands to make a change is if Google somewhere down the line starts expanding and acquiring juicy stuff. Well established companies and up and coming companies that will grow as well.

I'ld say get some for a rainy day and just keep an eye on it. Follow what happens to the management at Google after the offerings. If they suddenly start losing it with all that money and get in the news for dumb shit like drugs, drinking etc. then that will mean they're focused on expansion the right way.

One of the lead underw r i t e r s is Morgan Stanley who handles alot of my $$. My broker called me today with an update. I asked him to get me in on the IPO about 3 months ago. Of the initial stock that filter down to him.. as much as I want is mine.

I couldn't agree with you more. It happens to every high profile stock.
