This question cannot be answered well unless you give us more information.... how risky do you want to go, how fast do you want to see return, etc, etc.

Assuming you are of the age/intelligence of the average GFY poster, take the money and go to community college.

I might also suggest investing that money index a REIT or a very broad index fund for long term investment.

You need to build a nest egg sooner rather than later.

IM already in college, while working full time and messing with this internet shit on the side... I want to take what I have made from the net and multiply it.

Unless you can come up with a really good plan for that 7K to invest (I can't think of anything for that amount), then for your situation I would really suggest putting it into a stable money market account that pays slightly more than the average savings.

Wrong time to buy REITs. Look at a recent chart for the DJ US RE index and the Morgan Stanley REIT index. The threat of rising interest rates will generally impact REITs negatively. Unless you feel like calling the bottom on this one, I'd sit out for a few.
