Is MissGFY Buddhist?

I've had a thought percolating in my head for a few days now. If the there was a GFY contest with over $10k in prizes available to the guys, threads would be full of "Yeah, I'm gonna kick ass," "You don't have a chance," and "I hope I win."

Don't you find it interesting that none of the girls yet has stated that she WANTS to win, much less thinks she has a chance? Is it that repulsive to society for a female to have an ego or self-confidence that she can't even show it during competition?

Sure it's cocky, sure it might be in bad taste, but all this simpering shoring-up of every other contestant's (apparently) flagging self-esteem is tiresome. This is a competition, not an open-mic poetry reading.

Can't someone just say, "I'm gonna kick ALL yo' asses so hard you won't even feel it til next week!"

Now *that* would be in the true spirit of GFY.

I totally agree

People don't know how to express themselves correctly . I often don't tell what I mean the perfect way . This goes out another way and it's taken wrong .

An arrogant women is a turn off for me . If she has character, that's good . If she is arrogant and have nothing behind it, it pisses me off

no, because women are catty and don't like each other so they wait and gather material to talk shit about rather than do it ahead of time.

Women in general are more pacific. We want some fair contest.

In fact, I'm pretty sure most of us are thinking: "I hope they don't choose me for my big boobs, but how unique I am."

we are more sensitive, so we hope to get respected and thats how we threat the others... I think.
