I have worked as an affiliate marketing manager for years...as well as running my own sites....I have to say, if a banner has a full url, as an affiliate, I won't use it.

Type in traffic is certainly valuable, however, if my surfer types in the url instead of clicking I don't get credit for the sale.

As a site owner, your point makes sense, but as an affiliate, it costs me money. ;)

I'd have a nice mix of banners with and without urls so your affiliates can choose for themselves. ;)

I usually use mouseovers with the url to the site....so you can always suggest to your affiliates to use those instead if they don't want to use the url banners

I appreciate the feedback. It is definitely useful to me as I am new to all this and don't really know what sells best sometimes. What sells for a car dealer or realtor has no bearing on this lmao. Nick...your add is probably the most effective, no doubt, but how PRACTICAL is a 200 K HPA? How many affiliates will actually use it? Most HPA's are in the 50-70K range.

He didn't indicate file sizes he desired. I can make 1k if needed. I was just going for flashy. Tip well taken though. I am still learning.

you can also crop the image (read cut in pices) a bit, the right side (movie frames) aren't animated so cut that off and animate the left part for instance.

a table is better....imageready will create the table and input the slices for you at the click of a button ;)

Honestly guys. None of yesterday's odd sizes are worth anything at all. Not that there were more than two submitted anyway. So, I'd rather go with Thrawn's oversized HPA that he submitted 10 minutes late Monday night and posted to http://www.crazyteengirls.com/cjbucks/FAP/.

Thrawn, email me the zip of the PSD for that ad to get 50 bucks.
