Oh that was awful, wasn't it? Especially considering the wri ters and the director and the cast...should have been excellent. I almost enjoyed the first half, then the second half got worse and worse and the last fifteen minutes made me wish I hadn't watched it at all.

Haven't read the book; I hear it's better, but that doesn't give me much hope. What wouldn't be better? Although it's kind of reassuring to know the aliens were called "shit weasels." That, I can use.

whoever said fargo - fuck i dont know how to even reply. i love the coen bro's flicks ... big lebowski, man who wasnt there, those guys rock.

now, there are a lot of bad movies but im going to say "Signs" because - you sort of expect something halfway decent with mel gibson. that was a huge piece of shit.

i say this knowing full well there's a bunch of you who think it's the greatest movie ever, but i absolutely despized "wall street".

i got about half way through it when i realized this movie was full of horrid characters with no souls and i didn't give a damn what happened to them. stopped the flick right then and i haven't seen it since.

i do not go to the cinema very often. mostly i watch movies at home and when i don't like a movie, i don't watch it to the end. so i've seen a lot of bad movies, but always just the first 15 minutes. :glugglug

Hehe, I loved Fargo, and I also liked Signs a lot. I was predisposed to like Signs because (a) I like Gibson and (b) I like Shyamalan and (c) anything with cornfields is spooky, even if it's stupid (see: X-Files - The Movie). Signs didn't disappoint me because I figured it would be quirky and I just went along for the ride. It didn't have the payoff I hoped for, but I went in with few expectations, so like I said, it didn't disappoint.
