need apache / htaccess help
ok, we switched hosts and for some reason the default setting on the new server allows people to see files within a directory if there's no 'index.html' file, the previous server did a 'permission denied' if there were no index file, anybody know how to configure the server so prevents people from seeing directory's files? thanks!

I believe you would use
"Options -Indexes" in the httpd.conf
