Anyone use Vonage VoIP phone service?

My buddy just got Vonage IP phone service and wants me to switch? Anyone try it yet? Something like $14.95....beats normal phone price....

i was investigating one of those voip services...
they dont have 911 in canada
also its too early cause their soft is still glitching and they constatly upload updates to terminal during which phone is useless also the price in canada is about same as for regular one
but probably in a few years i'll swtich

Sounds like you can just reverse 1 wall outlets wires and then all jacks in your house will then work....so may have to gve it a try...

I use it here in Brazil. It's fucking great.

I have a us phone number here, and call to the US like I'm there

Saves me a ton of $. Hardly any difference from using a normal phone.

Hey I had vonage. It rocks! Soooo much better than dialpad. I used it in Mx with a US #.

I'm seriously thinking about getting the business package and buying a second unit for when I am on the road. Just being able to plug this sucker into a spare ethernet drop at the datacenter and making calls would be worth it alone.
