When I lived in AZ I was waitressing at this strip club and this dancer who worked at another club came in and asked us all to go into the locker room with her.
She had 3rd degree burns all over her entire body. She had been in a tanning bed for less than 15 minutes. Apparently the salon where she went had decided to give people a better tan faster they would put the bulbs that belong in a stand up booth into a bed.
I haven't tanned in a salon since then. I think I would rather take my chances with a bottle of spf 15 and the sun.

true that tanning beds are just as damaging as the sun
scary thing is that sun tan = skin damage, so watch out, luckily it seems that a natural tan lasts much longer and is probably just as healthy, make sure to use spf and build it up slowly this way you wont kick yourself when your 40 and dying from cancer
I used a tanning bed once when I was 18 and thought it was awesome but now I'm just paranoid when I see older ladies that were obviously in the sun a lot. Yikes! I've been using the self tanner
For the females who don't like to tan, try using Benefit's Flamingo Fancy. It isn't a self tanner but it is a lotion that gives you a shimmery tan for the day or evening.
When I was a kid I use to work at a health/tennis club we had tanning booths. I had to clean those beds after people came in.
First: I did not do the best job cleaning & second there were some really gross people who came and and left gross stuff behind! ILL PASS!
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
I havent used the tanning beds in years..skin cancer seems to run in my family. Although I am thinking of going for a bit of color this summer. I wear spf 45 outside when i climb out of my coffin

They're actually not that expensive. It's been a while since I was looking into starting a tan studio but single sided home beds started at 1200$ and 24 bulb 'regular' beds were about 2000$ (then the sky is the limit from there :P).
If you look at the amount of money and time you put into maintaining a tan every month home beds are much cheaper.
