if you see the error too many mysql connections in use just means the values in /etc/my.cnf are too low. can boost my max_connections way higher than they already are. plus more memory would helpSince 1999: 69 Adult Industry awards for Best Hosting Company and professional excellence.

Did I ever claim to know the infrastructure setup?
I dont know how many other sites are being run off the DB servers.. either way, the point is its not the hosts fault.
The most obvious reason I guessed was some shit with the software with any of the hacks put into VB, or some kind of database transport fuckup.
But either way, each forum has its own DB so the software for GFY could be fucked and the others not.

This scripts sucks wind and simply can't handle the volume of server and database calls.
You have to hit refresh now half the time to get the board to pop up again.
