Animal haters here...this should make your day
There's a young mommy duck with a trail of a few babies following her in the parking lot here...there's a 4 lane really busy street in front of the parking lot.
The duck keeps trying to cross the street (there are never any gaps in the traffic this time of day) and some girls from the pizza place a few spots down from me keep trying to chase the ducks back away from the road to safety. I see more geese and ducks killed this way. Stupid birds love to walk around this parking lot for some reason...isn't even any water near here. Not sure where they come from. I hate seeing the adults get hit but it REALLY sucks seeing a baby duck get run over for following its mom into traffic. |
