if you're lazy don't even bother. you have to love playing guitar. when i started playing i was about 15. i would play for hours everyday. i don't do it as much anymore, but it's alot like riding a bike. i'm just a little rusty.


but seriously it takes time dedication and love.


when you get it though.... there's no feeling like it. to just be able to play. it's a high of sorts.

Ask yourself first how much do you wanna learn? Are you willing to devote time to it or not? If not, then forget it.

I took 4 lessons per month, for six months. From then on all I know now I learned myself by practice and watching other guitar players...

If you get a good teacher you should be playing fairly well in a year. I used to play alot now I just play when im bored. I have an yngwie malmsteen sig strat thats pretty cool.
