Metallica Show

So I went to my 11th Metallica show last night at the Nassau Collesium. Not the greatest place to do a show, but it was cool. It also wasn't one of the greatest shows I've been to of them, but definitely the loudest. During the song "One", instead of playing sounds of guns and bombs going off, they used blanks for guns and pyrotechnic explosions for 5 minutes straight. Thought my ears were going to explode. They need to stop playing that St. Anger bullshit. They only played 3 shitty songs, but rewarded the crowd with a track from Kill 'Em All, which is rare as shit. Overall I'd rate this show a 7 out of 10. Lars came up to the mic to announce an extended leg of the tour for NYC in October, so those of you NY'ers that missed this one, can definitely go for the one in October.

Are they still talking about p2p file sharing (bootlegging more or less). I really miss the comic flash animations

Glad you had fun. I don't think I'd pay to see them nowadays. The last time I saw them was at Monsters of Rock in the LA Colisium 1988. It before Justice was released, but they played a few tracks from the "upcoming album." It was great, the crowd broke out into a riot as the assigned seating became general admission.

My friend went to that show. Personally, I think Metallica are a bunch of redneck pussies turned corporate pussies

i saw Metallica a month ago, i thought the show rocked

much better that summer sanatarium concert

if not for St anger and few shitty songs, i'd say it was the best one for me. I saw them first time in 96 that one was killer, but i was too stoned to remember much

oh and 5 mins of pyro b4 "one" was fuckin AWESOME
