I agree to a point with what you are saying, but do you think the males who are fucking are prostitutes? What about the male stars like Rocco who fucked like 1,000 women? Are they studs or are they prostitutes too? If they both are prostitutes then it's all good, but there should be no double standards.

If you wouldn't want your girlfriend or sister to be a pornstar, how would you feel if your brother or son was one? Would it be any different or do you have double standards?

There is no difference between a male and a female and yes, both would be considered prostitutes since they both do the deeds for the dough! :)

I would be more concerned for the females and here is why. The females have to do a lot more things than your typical guy does. The guy basically pulls out his cock and hands it over to her. Girls have to do anal, double anal, gang bangs, bukkake, etc etc.
You dont see gay guys doing double anal penetraction, well, i havent but i dont watch that much gay porn :) Overall i would say women tend to get abused more in the industry than the males. which is why i would be more concerned.

Double standard? Yes, but not a completely pointless one without substance.

The only reason i used the GF is because i'm not attached to her the same way i am with family and could cut all ties if something came up like this :)

Men generally make far less than women so if they are equal why not pay them the same?

the one industry women make more than men and they still complain!

she gets 250$ he gets 150, thats not fair!

;)

Sexual discrimination at it's finest :)

Imagine if all the porn stars demanded royalties for use of their images all at once, like in mainstream.

If talent is so precious maybe we should give them residuals too.

Yea, I do agree with you about respecting females or anyone for that fact that is a doctor, banker, pharmacist or whatever a bit more than someone who fucks for a living, but then again I also respect those people more than ME, because I have no illusions about what I do, I make galleries and sell porn. I don't screw for a living but it's not like I'm contributing towards society either, but I'm going to school so perhaps I might actually contribute something one day.

I think both males and females who screw on screen are "prostitutes" but I don't mean that in a derogatory manner, it just is what it is. I don't disrespect them, because without them I wouldn't make any money. Also, I know a lot of pornstars like to "escort" and prostitute on the side as well. Not all, but I know some do, I've seen them advertise themselves on certain websites. So perhaps for some there is no distinction; whether it's being filmed or not, they are still getting paid for sex.

Also agree that posing nude solo is not prostitution , and if a female is doing it with a bf on-screen, well, they are both prostitutes whoring each other out, but it's much better than fucking 10 different new people, and not as bad.

I think the real issue is why some of the kids in this thread want to jump up and down screaming, "WHORE! WHORE! YOUR A WHORE!". Why does it matter?

reynold 04-21-2004 06:05 PM

Prostitutes or not, they are still humans who feels that this is the easiest way to earn money. But some will admit that that is just what they are good at. As they said, if you have it, flaunt it!

Trixie Racer 04-21-2004 06:12 PM

When I first saw the poll results, I didn't understand how 1/3 of the people could answer anything other than "Anyone who fucks someone for money is a prostitute". After giving it some thought, I think I've figured it out!

Some people need to believe that having sex on film makes them "actors" or "actresses" instead of prostitutes. Without this illusion, they mentally wouldn't be able to handle doing their jobs. When production companies or scouts successfully convince a new model that she's "acting" instead of hooking, they gain access to a much wider pool of talent.

The money circle needs to go like this: Production companies always need new talent. While some models are naturally attracted to this business, others need some reassurance that what they're doing isn't wrong. When models are convinced that what they are doing is something they can be proud of (modeling/acting) instead of something they would feel ashamed of (hooking), people who would never consider becoming hookers are now available to be paid for sex. This allows for much more variety and more attractive talent than is available in the general escort/prostitute market.

Maybe not all models. But still, it will be difficult to say there are still those who are not!

Look at the poll results.. You think like the miniority.

You should be flipping burgers at BK instead of working in porn if you are that ashamed of the business that it has put you in denial.

If you sell your pussy and/or cock for money you're a prostitute. You can call it whatever the fuck you want to BUT you cannot change the fact that its prostitution.

Now what are you gonna say? "Well the state of CA thinks differently?" Are you another one of those idiots who is oblivious to the rest of the word?

Go look up the definition of prostitute and then come back here and explain to me how porn stars is any different..

Do you honestly believe that someone who gets hurt at the fact that they're prostitutes should be prostitutes?

To me, If a girl/boy cannot deal with what they do and what they are then they shouldnt be in the biz fucking for money anyways.

Tania 04-22-2004 04:12 AM

no i dot think so :winkwink: :thumbsup
