:mad Laptop Just Restarted & Now Operating System Not Found?

I was sitting here on my main computer and I have my laptop hooked up on my network and a few mins ago it restarted for no reason.

Now after restarting it just says Operating System not found.

Make sure there isnt a floppy or cd in the drives if not and the computer used xp format a floppy on an xp computer then copy 3 files to the floppy ntlrd, boot.ini and ntdetect.com from c:/, you may have to set view files to show system files, then put the floppy in the laptop and see if it boots if it does copy those three file to you root c:/ directory. Cant say this will work but it might help find the problem

Sounds like the symptoms of the Sasser worm. There are 4 variants of it. The same teen in Germany wrote all 28 variations of the Netsky virus also.

At least they got this twit and all his computers with all the records of his buddies too.
