Freud has had a huge impact for sure, but you can't escape the fact that he was a coke-snorting lunatic with some very dusturbing ideas. I am not going to pick on you about Einstein. As far as I know, that was a man of true brilliance whether everything about his theories are true or not (because they do indeed <i>theorize</i> very well). But how will we feel about him when/if a new theory comes forth and explains the universe that much better (Einstein didn't explain it all either, he built on the top of other people's shoulders - as is the way in science)? What about the day someone proves the existance and dynamics of a superverse? Will we even remember Einstein?

If you ask me, Papichulo, you have a valid point, but you base your conclusions on media hype and the spoutings of just one political spectrum, and if it is one thing Jews absolutely excel and marvle in high up there above all the rest, it is marketing crap to the goyim.

Einstein was probably the most brilliant scientist of all time . Should his theory be falsified , he would no more be forgtten than Newton was when he (Einstein) falsified Newtons theories.
The link that you give is grossly misleading . Einsteins postulate was that the MEASURED velocity of light is the same , regardless of the motion of the emitter or receptor ... not that it is constant in time .

Another point I want to make is that Jewish families/culture(and interestingly enough, Japanese & Chinese) encourages kids to follow purely intellectual pursuits. Judging from my Jewish friends' childhood stories, there was less of a fear of being called "nerd" or "geek" if you were interested in science or even purely intellectual pursuits (like learning Greek or Latin for "fun").
Contrast this to Latino/Black communities (not all but middle and ghetto).... if you're good at math, you get called a Nerd or if you do well in school you are accused of "trying to be white." I was lucky enough to grow up with an aunt and uncle who always wanted to go to college (but couldn't) so they valued education and intellectual curiosity. I guess I could have easily patterned myself after some neighborhood kids who were into the "thug life".... very easy. I guess its all choice... but having a community that has high academic expectations and an open mind towards intellectual curiosity (regardless of income) does count for a lot!Comment

I am Jewish myself and damn proud of if. If anyone has a problem with Jews then you can suck me long. Its all bc your jealous, I am not everyone is perfect. Papichulo has a lot of good points about Jews being smarter and having more money. Take a look inside a lot of the suburban hoods and see how many people are actually Jewish. Take a look at the movie stars today's, a lot of them are Jewish! Our religion has a bit motivation of what we make of ourselves. Threw out history we have been pushed around and told what to do, but now you go walk on the street instead of the side walk. I am not racist in any ways, for the fact that I grew up in a half black hood, and went to school with 80% Christian or whatever other religions. Now I live in a hood that has 85 % Jewish fams living in it. What I am trying to say is that it's true about the way you're raised and what you see around you is what motivates your future. To speculate that there's even a remote connection between a persons ethnic or religeous background and intelligence is obscene. Given a supportive environment and the oportunity for interpersonal and spiritual growth by any means anyone can excel.

One could say the same thing about alot of asian immigrants, so I think religion is probably not the key here, but more likely a close-knit social group that is available and willing to support even the lower of their class. This can be applied to many other migrating cultures, just happens to be that Jews have one of the oldest migrating cultures hahahahahahahahaed, this has benefitted them as well as, obviously hurt the group on several occasions.Originally posted by papichulo

Jews are pushed harder by their parents. They set high goals for their kids and its almost an insult to a jewish family if one of their kids gets a blue collar job. They are pushed hard in the right direction and arent allowed the freedoms of choice as regular white guys. So there is less of a chance of them being slackers.

another thing...the jews that came out from the former USSR in the 1990 weren't rich at all...but a lot of them were smart and had college education.
the jewish parents always want their kids to do better then they did...so they are pushing...and since most of the familes have only 1-3 kids they can study insted of going to work to help support the family if there are 8 kids
