    what will the new.net .xxx domains be worth IF

    what do you think the .xxx domains will be worth if new.net wins the right to use them ?

    without using browser plugins they already have the backing of some major ISP's, about 200,000,000 surfers now have access to the .xxx TLD without having to use any browser plugins.

    I already have a sackfull of prime names, if they end up being useless then I haven't wasted that much money but what will they be worth if it becomes official?

              I don't think it's actually a good idea.

              Sex.xxx - I'm sure Sex.com would sue and win control of the domain because of possibility of confusing people. Ditto with all other domains.

              PersianKitty.xxx, TheHun.xxx - Even one word domains would have the same applicable legal ramifications.

                      Yeah me too, the domains would be worth millions if they were .com but I wonder if they would become valuable even if the .xxx TLD becomes a reality

                      Ive seen a lot of people dissing them but people also dismissed the idea of the .com being worth anything, I wish I could go back and but sex.com xxx.com bank.com cash.com etc etc

                              I figure new.net needs to win the rights to the .xxx TLD and then all us stupid people make money, if not then I guess they aint worth a shit

                                      LOL yeah I know what you were getting at but I think trade names will be treated just like any other TLD

                                      However since some of the BIG ISP's are providing the service to 200,000,000 surfers (and growing, along with many registrars already selling them) it must be putting a LOT of pressure on ICANN to authorize their use and make it official.

                                      so what will our prime one word domains be worth, I know a LOT of webmasters on here have already bought up some killer names, and there's still plenty left
