The same shit has happened to plenty of us by them. I know that virutally all of these programs allow spammers as long as they make enough money. It wasn't worth my time so I just gave up on it, I still probably get spams from the spam fucking spammer these days I just have my filter set so that I don't ever see them.

I know where they got my email address from and it was another affiliate program they probably traded lists with each other or some shit.

I thought it was pretty retarded and since I usually label my email address by the name of the program @ my.com I always know where the email is coming from. So when I got spam to an email address that was only used at a certain affiliate program and named after that affiliate program it was pretty simple to figure the rest out.

He was mailing another program the week before

and the week before that, this webmaster was mailing another program.

Why dont you slam other programs?

Dave, I dont' have an account with you - I have no reason to be pissed off at your for any other reason that what I've stated here. If I had gotten spammed by this prick promoting other programs and they took care of it the way you did - I would have no problem bringing it to the boards. But I've been fortunate in the fact that most people don't like dealing with me and they take immediate action when I report a spammer that is out of control. This guy slammed relentlessly for over a week promoting many of your products. If that's not a clear violationg of your TOS ...then what the fuck is?

well like i said i usually name my email addresses after the program that i am signing up for, so i know exactly where the emails are coming from.

Guys I understand what you are saying - but I have known dave for a little over a year now and he is a good man - and platinum is a decent organization to work for and to be apart of.

I think this is best sorted on with a phone call rather than on the boards. I do like the people at platinum very much, and despite what you may feel - try and work with them and you will find they are trying to work with their webmasters and have a great respect from others in this industry.

Well I certainly don't expect Dave to change his shady business practices because of somethng I posted here. But I do hope that he feels a little bit of the frustration that I've felt over the last week dealing with an asshole affiliate of his that's been slamming me promoting Dave's program.

I only wish he would step up to the plate and admit the his company sleep with spammers and that they have no intention of shutting down spammers accounts even though they clearly have said this in their TOS. All he had to do was reply to my message and tell me that the account had been shut down - I would have been happy with that. Hell, he could have even lied to me and told me that just to get me off his back.
