What's a good prod/Q FACTOR?
Well I built a TGP a few weeks ago, fed it about 10k of traffic over a few days and managed the trades a bit. Then I got sick of it and abandoned it because I make enough money on my SE traffic that I didn't think it was worth it. I checked now and it's been doing about 2k every day since the traffic stopped and the overall productivity averages 140-150%. I'm thinking about managing the trades a bit then pumping traffic to see if it will sustain whatever I push to it. At what point do you think this would be a good idea? The Q factor in TTT on most trades is over 100%. How many trades over a certain Q factor do you think I should have before a traffic pump again?

Productivity isn't just about layout, it's also your trades. Higher prod trades grow the site exponentially, but you need to be able to find them first.
Don't just look for a good Q... look for a trade with above average prod and the return within reasonable limits (say below 130%). Good trade prod is also important (the relative ratio of clicks out to OTHER trades that a trade generates), but I don't think you can see that with TTT. Finally, keep your trade selection realistic. If you sign up to big sites expecting quality traffic then it's not gonna happen. With these sites you need to be a large trade to get the good stuff back. |

It's hard to say how much traffic you should feed your site, because if you feed it a large load at once, your traders might not be able to return well enough and you will lose your traffic. I think you should experiment with your prod a bit and when it's a bit higher feed it the 10K and see how it goes. You can always buy more if the trades can handle it.
