Hey bosses! How do you manage your net employees? (pic)

Other than sending emails and IM convos...

Is there anything you guys use like a web based 'task manager' that your telecommuting slave could log into and view tasks for that day, add comments, status, etc?

I guess outlook has something simliar to this but I'd like something web based.

    Does such a thing exist?

And now for the pic, DONT LET THIS DISTRACT YOU FROM THE QUESTION!!!

    .... hotness

yeah, maybe there is something out of the box... the closest thing I can think of is something like bugzilla or other bug tracking software, but using something like this would get annoying after a while

You can probably make your own system that would cater to your specific needs.

.....and that was really a distracting pic!

I haven't heard of such a thing right now. But as soon as I do, I shall get back to you.

There are are couple of free open source managers out there, that works just fine - i have tried http://www.phprojekt.com.com]PHProjekt[/URL] and was quite pleased with that.

I'm sure you can find something there to fit your needs ;)
