Regardless of the FTC and other Government attempts to shut down people's ability to view 'obscenities', I believe that the only thing that may happen is that greater rules to protect children may be enforced.
Personally I hate that my kid might see some chick sucking a horses cock JUST cos she happens to have an email account.
I don't care about the porn, I don't care that people want to watch bestiality.. takes all kinds of people to make up a world.. and as long as you're not hurting anyone or breaking any laws what's the problem.
But I think the POINT is that we don't want to expose our children to things they SHOULDN'T be seeing.
More regulations on the delivery of advertising is probably one of the only answers to the endless battle of incoming mail and ads that folks don't want their kids to see.
It's the responsiblity of everyone in the porn industry to ensure we are all viewed in the best possible light. The more fucked up WE are in advertising our products, the more likely we are to bring the heat down on ourselves.
Freedom of speech is a great thing, but EVERYONE can abuse it, so we gotta make sure we DON'T so we can keep this good adult deal going for everyone else as well as ourselves.
