You better go back to your 9-5 job in the pretty boy area you live in before you go running your flap.

I think you can figure it out from there i hope

It comes with the attitude. Black men are fierce looking than others.

Fierce looking cocks maybe! LOL Perhaps the reason they have to look 'hard' is because of feeling uncomfortable? |

In fact caucasians have been some of the most savage mutherfuckers that ever walked this planet. Why is this even under debate? Read some history guys..
Maybe the question should be, why do Americans seem like they have a chip on the shoulder around blacks. Because they do, they feel guilty as fuck for slavery. Question answered, let's move on folks. There is money to be made. |

You'd think that in this age, people will get over racism! Apparently not!
|
Maybe this is one of those things that are real...but people don't want to admit?

Additionally I grew up in Romania where I saw maybe 5 black folks in 14 years, I can assure you everyone was very curious, but scared? No, this is an American thing my friend. |

Anyway, sure racism plays a role, but I think it's more a matter us being naturally inclined to fear what is different from us. When I was a teen, in the 80s, I was a "new-waver." Basically we looked like punks, except we paid $40 bucks for our mohawks (which came with a lovely neck massage) and bought our clothes at consignment stores rather than thrift shops. (I believe another term was "poseur", but we elite reserved that term for people who only TEMPORARILY dyed their hair pink, the pussies.) Anyway, the vast majority of "mainstream' people (I think we called them...um, well, we didn't call them) were afraid of us or for whatever went out of their way to avoid us. Including, yes, crossing the street to avoid even momentary contact. In fact, we were about as dangerous as techno-pop. But we did go out of our way to separate ourselves from the mainstream. It was pretty foolish of us to expect mainstream acceptance despite this fact, but we did. Ah, youth. Take a group of young people - more than about 3, really - and you're likely to make some us older folks feel a little edgy. (We're not necessarily afraid of you; we just remember how WE were.) Add to that anything that makes you remarkably different, and yes, we'll probably tend to avoid you - not necessarily out of fear. There are dozens of factors at work. Better stop now, before I end up writing a dissertation... |

It depends where u r.....
In London I get nervous if I see a group of black youths.... But here in NZ I dont take any notice at all |
I guess black ppl look kind of "strange" for the most ppl maybe even dangerous looking.
Also the image that the black ppl are given by the media scares the white people. Actually I think that white ppl are only afraid of those black people who look like the 'slum-people' dressed up in hiphop clothes and looking dangerously .. So far .. |
Is this phenomenon cross cultural? ie., do Chinese/Japanese/Vietnamese/Koreans fear blacks as well?
|
Interesting point. Fear of youth groupings?

90% of our prisons is young black men, so what does that tell you, they stand on our street corners selling Crack. they think us white people owe them fucking something because our ancestors had there ancestors as slaves.
The welfare offices are full of black people wearing gold chains and still getting food stamps, yet they drive around in cadillacs. And the black woman feel the need to keep having babies to get more food stamps. It's pathetic And yes I am racist, So call me Archie Bunker, Who gives a fuck, everyone is entitled to there opinions. That was the dumbest statement I have ever heard. I'm a black female and I have never been on welfare, my mother has never been on welfare, her mother was never on welfare, her mother was never on welfare..and so on |
im not scared

black on white crime is way more common than white on black, at least over the last 40 years. Any white on black hate crime is liable to be hugely publicized in the media, however, leading to perceptions that the US is still Selma, AL 1962.
That being said I'm never leery of blacks, unless I'm in the ghetto after dark, which is a place I rarely have a good |

You raise a very interesting point. There definitely is a HEIGHTENED sensistivity to white on black crime.

Black people seem to commit crimes aginst each other instead of against whites.
Overall, the black people that commit crimes are so separated from white areas that it a very unusual occurrance for a black on white crime to happen. |
Well, I would have to say that it's not black people I am afraid of. I am afraid of anyone who looks "suspect" or likely to mess with me. Generally, I mean really gangsta thugs or ragidy dervish sorts are about the most hostile form of person I've encountered in public. Otherwise, I'd have to say no races scare me more than any other.
