This is seriously going to hurt, I do not see it as a bump in the road nor does anyone I talk to that produces porn. Our own productions have ground to a halt and nearly every producer has stopped shooting.
We all know that this will reach the foaming mouthed justice department and give them several bunker buster style bombs to drop onto our industry. Tue and Wed night while speaking with our production staff at jsp, we all were hoping that some 18 or 19 year old doesnt pop up positive. We knew this would just fuck things up big time.
We then talked about what would happen if it was a black guy who gave it to a white girl, or if it was a bi-sexual, a person with a rap sheet, or a known drug user. The only things possibly worse than just some people coming up positive.
