Want to triple your money? Invest in CBTE

I've got about 20 g's in it currently. Its just under 4 now. It will get to 10 for sure however is being predicted by many to get to 20 and two of the top analysts in the country think it will go to 50 and then split. It has the EXACT same look to it on the charts and profile as a company last year TASR that made taser weapons that was at 3 and went to 150...not too shabby ...i didnt get it til 50, but this one i'm on top of... Get in now my friends....

WOW, imagine buying that a couple thousand shares of TASR back last year this time for $3-$4 per share, then selling it now for $122.15 per share

the big difference is tasr was profitable and took advantage of the 03 bull market

i haven't really looked at cbte but its a small company with no profits. it'll need a big boost from somewhere to make a big move this year.

Jdog- Its more predictable than you'd think

Ganjasaurus- Its at a low point again and so its a good time to buy while its this low. The fact that at a time it was at 25 just proves where this stock can be when good things are happening to the company. It probably eventually will come back down to earth, but isnt that the basic concept of investment? Buy low Sell high ?

..for those that are wondering why specifically this stock will be going up at perhaps as fast as TASR did...here is why:

1) Look at their quarterly earnings. Progressively higher each and ever quarter. It has now posted two consecutive profittable quarters in a row which in the game of getting your company off the ground it is a huge step to show consecutive quarters with earnings. Mix this with a progression in their +/- and it looks like this one will not be looking back. 2002 they lost 625k , 2003 for the whole year they were 81k down...2004 will be their first whole YEAR in the black. This will also drive the stock up as confidence in the company goes up.

2) The government has announced they are setting aside somewhere in the range of 600-650 million dollars in grant money for projects that a company like CBTE would handle. They are using the money to contract comapanies and anounced that CBTE would be one of only EIGHT companies eligable for the grant money.

3) Every year CBTE has been contracted for more and more money. This past year i believe it was for 5.1 mil...this upcoming year they are projected to have somewhere around 8mil which should put them atleast 2 if not 3 million in profit this year. This will be huge and will drive the stock up.

4) If you look back at the press releases of CBTE, you will notice that they are just stock piling patents. Some of these will eventually turn into contracts.

Now take those points (probably not illustrated that well, sorry) ....and really sit back and think about it.

Usually when CBTE has a good anouncement it has been pushing the stock up about 15% and thats on low volume which is impressive that it can sustain it most of the time. So if we can keep getting those 15% climbs with positive anouncements then look at the potential of the upcoming year:

You've got in all likelyhood one contract announcemnt per month. If you're wondering where i came up with that number, just look at the past contract anouncements and now figure in that the government will be contracting them as well. You will see that one per month is very conservative.

Then you've got 4 postive quarterly earnings reports which should be positive.

Also keep in mind that this is not a pharmaceutical company. A pharmaceutical company is high risk because if their drug gets denied everyone hears about it. If CBTE misses out on a contract you will not hear about it, only if they get the contract will you hear about it.

so, you've got 16 jumps hopefully coming in the next year. So, the stock is at 3.80 now...here are the jumps:

4.37
5.02
5.79
6.64
7.64
8.78
10.10
11.62
13.36
15.37
17.68
20.33
23.38
26.89
30.92
35.56

There will be some set backs in well which is why i feel that like 20-25 is a good goal for the next 52 week period...be even if it only hit 20... if you buy in now, at 3.80 with 5k, in 12 months your 5k would turn into $26,315

I understand that there will be skeptics as there always will be. But keep an eye on this one guys, i think its really gonna blow up it.)

As I stated above. The main potential is in the fact that the government has so much money up for grabs for grants which will come in the form of contracts. CBTE is one of 8 companies that the government said are eligable. Now, for the stock to jump a lot over the next year, they just need to get about 8 million in contracts (5.1 million last year) ...8 million is about 2% of the money that is up for grabs, whereas if they got 1/8th of it seeing as they are 1 of 8 companies who have access that would be 12.5% . I dont think these arguments are that far fetched. All i ask is that at the very least you book mark it and watch it. I think you'll be able to tell the trend that will develop within the coming two months. But the CBTE train is starting its wheels and will have left the station in not too long IMPO

just because a stock hit a high of whatever during the bubble means shit. a lot of stocks that were 100+ are bankrupt today.

analysts usually become overly optomistic when stocks are soaring

Like I said, bookmark it and forget about it for now if you like. But make sure to take a look at it in a month or two...at which point i will be bumping this thread back to the top

And btw...obviously the cbte chart isnt going to look like the tasr chart at this point if thats what you're implying...it has to make its climb before they look alike. But as far as the volume/price ratio and company growth history, it is actually quite parallel, just a year behind. It is not as strong of market so we will never see cbte hit 150 like tasr, but we will 100% see it hit 10 and 90% hit 20...beyond that would be great...but even if you got in now and it made its way to ten, 2.5x your money is a worth investment. Suite yourselves, we'll just have to wait and see i suppose for proof...so lets just agree to disagree on this one

I'm in with 7K$. I'm not a strong believer but I can see the upward potential. My estimate will be around 8-10 in half a year. good enough for me Let's bump this in a few months!

And one more thing guys...i can warn ya in advance...if the stock goes down like 3 cents tommorow...I DONT WANNA HEAR ABOUT IT! ...lets watch this one over the next couple months as a whole...but more fun to watch it climb when you've got money invested

Chances are you'll make some money if you get it out before the scam peaks, but this is certainly not a reliable stock.

Show us some press releases, etc. The volume screams P&D.

http://biz.yahoo.com/djus/040309/1240000722_1.html
http://finance.yahoo.com/mp#cbte

read up...and yes, it did have low volume. It also had a low float which means there werent many available shares by non-company owners...only about 1.2 mil as i recall. So I knew that a contract of any size would drive this one up. My target on it is 20. It will settle down around 6.50-7 today

The contract is only 1 mil dollars...but when your expenses are 5 mil a year, that is a big deal. They currently have about 2.5 contracts lined up so far for this year and its only 2.5 months deep. If you didnt listen to first time, maybe you'll listend this time?

i think you had a glitch...hasnt been below 6.30 for about 4 hours

You might have been looking at how much its up for the day...like is said...i bet it settles down around 6.50...6 at the lowest...it will be a nice day...

the high was 7.94 in the morning...but we all knew it would NEVER hold that today...i'm in for the long hall, this is the first of many nice days to come with CBTE so i'm not too worried about 20 cents here or there

So are you going to hold on to all your shares fvurakki? The market just closed and the stock is at around 10.20 I think. I got in for (sadly only) 375 shares when it was at 3.80, and now im trying to figure out if i should set a sell price of $11 or just ride it out. What do you think the probability would be of this company securing more contracts?

Here's the chart...isnt it pretty ?

It is deffinitely not time to sell yet. This stock has a lot of momentum right now. It could carry it to 15 over the next couple weeks. Most likely you will see the stock go up another point or 2 in after hours trading...then a point or 2 tommorow...then a correction, not huge...bug a correction....and i think it will settle down around 15 eventually within a month or 2.....however....it could very well grab another contract in that time period in that time period and shoot it well into the 20's....I will be re-evaluating probably at 15 or 20 because if it gets to 20 i think there might be a significant correction and i might sell off like half the shares to insure part of my profits....i suggest you add me to your ICQ for guidance on this stock down the line....

i guess i forgot to answer your question about them securing more contracts. Here's the run down

They will have 5 mil in expenses most likely in the year...through 2.5 months so far they've already sealed up 1.4 mil in contracts....plus they have work left from last year amounting to about another 1 million dollars of revenue. So 1.4+1= 2.4mil already.... If they can get to 7 mil in total revenue, we will see this stock in the mid to high 20's eventually. Nobody knows for sure about if they will get contracts or not...but, they are one of 8 companies that are currently up for 240 mil in contracts and CBTE holds patents to some very up and coming technologies....ones that command billions of dollars a year....If CBTE can just get their small piece of the pie then you will see this thing shoot sky high...

So in conclusion....i wouldnt bet my dick that they will land lots of contracts but i'd go as far as betting both of my balls....AKA...I'm 99.999999999% sure...but .000000001% of losing my dick is just too much
