One more day until Yahoo charges pay per click on the search engine

IMPORTANT NEWS - Your Free Yahoo! Traffic Ends on April 15th!

After April 15th, you will no longer receive free traffic from Yahoo!. Since the free trial started, our customers on average have DOUBLED their traffic compared to pre-trial Inktomi traffic volumes.

Are you sure you can afford to lose such a large amount of high quality traffic?

To continue receiving Yahoo! traffic you will need to upgrade to Overture Site Match

You think so?? I dont think that will ever happen with google. Google knows their biggest strength are search results that are true to what people are looking for.

I doubht that will happen. Maybe when they go public on their stock, something like that might happen. Google has already remained faithful on sending true results to their visitors. Yahoo wants you to pay for everything. They started messing up by charging for a directory listing. Now they are messing up again by charging for their search listing.

That is why Yahoo has to have email, personals, travel and all these other things. That is the only reason people visit Yahoo now. I sure as hell don't go to Yahoo anymore to find something in their directory. I have always relied on Google since Yahoo went to paid directory listings.

you either:
- don't know how to search. shame for a webmaster.
- don't see value in websites you call spam. sometimes webmasters don't know what is spam actually and call it that as long as it's commercial although it's ON TOPIC and brings what you searched for.

So what your saying is there will be 0 hits coming from yahoo now? I have never paid for a directory listing but still get quite a few hits from them.
