I'm sorry but some of the "marketing" skills needed in this industry are learned and not so conventional. Most marketing jobs don't require a person to chat on icq. These things must be learned and NOhahahaha can say that they came into this industry knowing everything! I came into this industry not knowing the biz and I can surely say that I still don't know everything but I'm always learning.:2 cents:

My very first full week of work for Lightspeed Cash I attended the show in Vegas. And the very first thing I learned was what a TGP was. Everyone was new to the business at one time.

As for marketing skills...... This business is so different from any other business that it's no longer funny. Every day I'm hit up on ICQ with people introducing themselves and asking what I do. And sometimes it works. Recently I was contacted by one of the larger companies in the industry, and they introduced themselves to me. A week later I'm paying for their feed.

That's called Marketing. That's what these people do. If you aren't smart enough to see that, well, perhaps you should go back to working at Burger King.

By now someone has explained what PPS is for Sarah. That would have been such a simple solution in the first place. Just in case and for anyone else new - it means Pay Per Signup. To me anyway.
