Anyone buying traffic from traffic brokers and turning it into sales?

The common opinion is that PPC SE traffic ( from Overture, Find What, Sex.com etc. ) is being used for making profits and generating the best ROI whereas "traffic broker traffic" ( Choker, Traffic Shop, Adult Traders ), although 10 times cheaper, is being only used to feed TGPs / MGP's and not with a ROI in mind.

Have anyone of you ever tried to buy traffic from brokers and send it to similar landing pages where PPC Se traffic is normally sent, and made a profit?
You don't have to name the brokers, just answer this question.

thanks, p_a

I've won some traffic a few times in the past (25k total).
Sent it directly to a tour, didn't make a penny.

It's still possible to turn $1 into $2 if you know what you're doing and also if you are working the right sponsor.
There are 2 kinds of traffic that we use
1- Choker traffic to feed TGP's which generates lotsa sales, but again it depends on the way your TGP is set up, we only list our own galleries and sponsor hosted galleries, so all traffic goes to us. (We also have used ravo traffic with comparable success)
2-PPC SE, google adwords was doing great until they changed their layout, now we're tweaking again with the pages where traffic is sent as well as as the keywords. Overture can still make you moeny, even if you have to pay 10 cents per click, as far as the new Yahoo @ 15 cents per click, well, we are going to try it and see how it goes

I've bought traffic from several places now, and for production, I absolutely LOVE traffic out (http://www.traffic-out.com)

My productivity at this moment is 357.9%. It will go up to around 460% in the evening.

I made a sale my second day with this traffic.

The only problem is that it can only come in at about 1k per day 800 - 1200 over the last week or so... can't force clicked traffic.

Hunter runs it, and he seems like a really good guy. Answers questions really quickly and gave me some good tips for capitalizing on the traffic.

These days 'feeder' seems to be just that. Semi-crap to send to your trades in the hope that you'll get back some buying surfers. A Chinese surfer actually appears more valuable to a trade script (since they love to click).

I've tried cheap/feeder traffic direct to sales pages... made $0

Is this a normal TGP with other trades, or a fake TGP that only goes to galleries?

ie, is your traffic coming exclusively from Traffic_Broker_XYZ, or is that just used to beef up existing trades?

ok, it seems like either those who are able to turn profits from that kind of traffic, won't say it here... or that that traffic is really crap.

I mean, I know it is crap compared to PPC SE traffic, but I thought that if it is priced 10 times cheaper, then there might be actually a chance to make a good ROI on that traffic too.

So ignoring bookmarkers, and say you make an average of about $30 per sale, you need to make about one sale per 5,000 loads of your TGP to break even... if your prod is 400% (since you don't skim) then that means you make at least $30 per 20,000 gallery clicks, or $1.50 per 1,000 gallery clicks. Impressive if you can consistently pull that off - I only make an average of about $0.50 per 1,000 gallery clicks...

Let's just say that a TGP that gets around 10k unique per day makes us about 3 to 6 sign ups per day....

Well, spend $60 for traffic , make $90 to $120 in revenues, so it's not too bad

Time is money. If you spend an hour a day maintaining a TGP
be sure to bill your own hours.

So many people forget to bill there own efforts against the clock to figure out if what they are doing is actually worth while time wise

I guess a thread called "Oracle Porn got owned by DarkJedi ( pic ) " would get more views and replies

WTF, has yahoo started taking listings for adult terms on the search??!! Or are they going to? That would be very good news indeed.

I never tried that . I've only bough very little traffic to get tgp started ... I could mostly provide my own for my other project or work something out (medias etc)
