PRESS RELEASE-Mansion Productions and ClickTruth.com Announce Partnership

For Immediate Release:
Mansion Productions and ClickTruth.com Announce Partnership

Los Angeles, March 30, 2004 ? The Online Adult industry's most advanced billing and affiliate management software, MPA3 from Mansion Productions, has now partnered with the most trusted third-party Sponsor Auditing and Accounting service in the industry--ClickTruth.com. The strategic alliance announced today offers an unparalleled system of end-to-end billing, affiliate management and anonymous traffic/join auditing, for the largest to even the smallest Sponsor programs.

Through a process of installed scripts, credit card post-back data, and rigorous, anonymous testing and auditing, ClickTruth.com is able to confirm that webmasters are getting credit for every sale their traffic generates to a sponsor program. All that is required for webmasters to participate is to register their current affiliate ID's for free at the ClickTruth.com site for the programs they promote. Random audits are performed regularly on all enrolled members accounts with participating Sponsors, so every web master can sleep better at night knowing they are in the "preferred" list. In addition, individual web masters can have specific audits performed on their traffic for a nominal charge, to ensure that they are being credited for every sale. No more accusations and no more worries!

The ClickTruth service helps Sponsor Programs prove they are treating their web masters fairly, and gives everyone involved confidence that no "shaving" is occurring. The Porn Posse owns and operates ClickTruth.com. It's CEO, Johnny V explained, ?When every slow sales period generates accusations of shaving from under-performing webmasters, it is nice for a Sponsor Program to defer to a third party to calm the hysteria. When it becomes a my-word-against-yours situation, it?s tough to find resolution. ClickTruth allows program owners to stop worrying about disgruntled accusations and gives webmasters the tools to audit for themselves in a blind, random fashion!"

Both companies understand the need for freedom of choice, and this offer will be available for anyone running Mansion Productions new MPA3 platform that is due to be hitting the market this spring.

This partnership is yet another example of how Mansion Productions works hard to brings more value to its webmasters. The new and improved MPA3 platform will ADD to its already impressive feature list:

· Reward system ? A popular loyalty program that rewards your webmasters with goods or services.
· Shopping cart
· Fraud control Feature. IP tracking where the MPA3 program will tag a particular webmaster has signed up to the same site or different sites in the program sent by the same IP address. This is especially useful tool to control and reduce webmaster fraud in affiliate programs.
· Geo Tracking ? IP Tracking Script. Tracking which country the surfer originates from and therefore, supplying the surfer with the best billing alternative.
· Sub admin login ? add others sites to your program and give access only to their admin stats
· Database agnostic
· Multiple tours option

And more to be disclosed at launch?

Several Sponsor programs have been quietly using the ClickTruth service for months. Flashcash and PornKings were early adopters who used ClickTruth to give piece of mind to their webmasters. "Quite simply, we've always paid out honestly on every sale." said Jason Rhino of FLASHCA$H; "ClickTruth lets a third party prove that for us." Other programs are in beta testing now, including StiffyCash, FasterBucks, and GammaCash/GammaExtreme. Now, any MPA3 customer who elects to add the ClickTruth.com service can do so at a discounted price and offer their webmasters peace of mind.

To learn more about this partnership and how you can take advantage visit www.mansionproductions.com or email [email protected].

The comment that bothers me is:
"When every slow sales period generates accusations of shaving from under-performing webmasters"

I think it's been proven that sponsors shave - and not only 'under-performing' webmasters have found the shavers.
Just wondering why that negative comment (towards anyone who had felt or voiced that they were being shaved) was thrown in.

Maybe we'll see a company move back to them? But that would mean 1. 3 is more than 1, so companies would be accurate. no?

Anyway, nice job, frankly, if a program owner wants to shave, he doesnt need your software to do it, he just needs to be dishonest.

Awesome Mansion!

I knew you were listening and you've taken the time to do it right.

Great to see that you not only wrapped it up in your code but
also got someone to audit it. One thing you'll want to look closely
at is possilbe ways the system might be fooled. I imagine the
random audits take care of this, however the right code structure
should help a great deal. Your code being encrypted gets you
close but you might need some extra checks to see how files are
being called and if any extra code has been added around yours.

Quote:
· Reward system ? A popular loyalty program that rewards your
webmasters with goods or services.
· Shopping cart
· Fraud control Feature. IP tracking where the MPA3 program will
tag a particular webmaster has signed up to the same site or
different sites in the program sent by the same IP address. This
is especially useful tool to control and reduce webmaster fraud in
affiliate programs.
· Geo Tracking ? IP Tracking Script. Tracking which country the
surfer originates from and therefore, supplying the surfer with
the best billing alternative.
· Sub admin login ? add others sites to your program and give
access only to their admin stats
· Database agnostic
· Multiple tours option
Fantastic! Shopping cart was a simple but needed addition,
personally I'd even use a shopping cart for paysite signups
(although not looking like a tradional cart) just to have the
database all work the same regardless of product type. Good to
see the webmaster signup IP thingy, another good feature that
is needed is the ability to tell if the signups a webmaster sends
ever actually view the members area. Multiple tours is great,
hope you have some nice options for rotations and pushing the
better tours to the top. Oh and another thing I've been thinking
recently.... The ability to split funds between several partners
based on rules as to which products they get a split for.

Oystein and I seem to have a funny relationship... We can go at
each others throats while still seeing each others position. Glad
you've done the hard-yards and made this happen. Without all
the controversy I'm sure MPA3 users will have a much easier time
dealing with their affiliates. Now you have some great ammo for
all those shaving threads!

clicktruth can only randomly "audit" clicks, but could not audit signups. so signups can still be shaved. you should not use such trick to do "damage control" and fool affiliates.

Unless someone can explain another use for skimming within affiliate software, its sole function is to cheat. If a company includes features which are of no value whatsoever to ethical sponsors, it has made a deliberate choice to include dishonest sponsors among its potential clients.

Affiliates have more obvious cause for concern, but honest sponsors are also harmed by the scepticism that permeates this business. Not only in respect of affiliate software, we would all benefit by refusing to work with those who lack ethics themselves and those who make it possible for them to function.

It's great to see a positive reaction to the merger..

As a I-Bridge International (co-creator of ClickTruth) employee I can say that this has been the most educational and enjoyable employment I've ever had. I've seen these guys do some great stuff for their clientele as well as themselves as all involved. This eventure hopefully will change the face of how our stats are dealt with and make it fair for everybody.

There's no way to truly stop the dishonest wm's and affils from doing their thang cuz them like those who design viruses and other cheaters are always evolving and looking for new ways to do damage.

I am one of the Helpdesk managers at FlashCA$H, an I-Bridge client, and am blown away by people who fraud the system and wen their account is shut down they have the balls to blame it on FC and a million other things and demand their account be reactivated. Then watch as they sign up for a bunch of fake accoutns using duplicate information with the sole intention of frauding the system.

Its sad to see this happen. Projects like click truth will hopefully deter alot of affils and sponsors alike from falling prey to the temptation of skimming a few extra bucks here and there from the hardworking people who earn it.

Kudos!

based on rules as to which products they get a split for.

CAN use ClickThruth.... key word here I think.

It's not implemented by default, the program has to willingly accept ClickTruth in to audit the system.

That means that just because MPA3 and ClickTruth CAN work together, it's still no guarantee that the sponsor isn't shaving until AFTER ClickTruth releases a report on them.

This also means that I would have to "see it to believe it" that MPA3 doesn't come with a shave feature, or at least an optional module.

Be careful folks.... this is NO GUARANTEE of anything. ClickTruth is trust worthy in my opinion, but only AFTER they've had a chance to audit the sponsor.
