filtering common words (ie w.i.n.d.o.w.s, w.r.i.t.e, etc.)
Wouldn't it make more sense to filter common words in a way that they remain legible rather than turn them all into 'hahahahaha'? The 'hahahahaha' makes sense for offensive words and attorney generals, but not for inoffensive (but exploitable) words like wri.te.

is how it is to be. The hahahaha(s) and the heartbeat ed<i></i>it lapse ti<i></i>mer are necessary. Shut down the sc<i></i>ri<i></i>pt<i></i> kiddies and keep the board functioning is the job. The job is being done so if all we get is hahahaha(a) and a heartbeat edit opportunity then so be it. Remember your bitchin' about having to post hahahah instead of throwing in italics/bold brackets to bust up the word. The a<i></i>dm<i></i>in here has to fuck around with eight bazillion pages of P<i></i>HP to keep the board fully fu<i></i>nct<i></i>io<i></i>nal.
