Think male art-class models have it easy? Not if fine arts major Brandy Ritchey is on the other side of the canvas. Imagine trying to maintain, um, professionalism as you sit buck-naked just feet from this blonde beauty. Brandy studied everything from glassblowing to sculpture to photography at Illinois State University, but clearly this Cyber Girl's home is on the other side of the camera.
We caught up with Brandy, who has recently decamped from chilly Illinois to sunny LA, to discuss her favorite parts of the male anatomy, fashion tips for guys and dirty dancing while slinging drinks.
Playboy.com: We hear you're interested in fashion design. What fashion tips do men need most?
Brandy Ritchey: My biggest pet peeve is guys who don't dress appropriately. They're overdressed or way underdressed. I like guys in jeans and a T-shirt, but at the same time I like to see a guy in a suit, if that's appropriate. But I'd say my favorite thing is to see a guy in a pair of jeans and a nice fitted shirt.
PB: You used to work at a bar. What was the craziest thing you ever saw or did there?
BR: My bar was a lot like Coyote Ugly -- all women bartenders. We dressed somewhat provocatively, not slutty, but sexy. Once a night we'd get up on the bar and dance whenever they'd play an Eighties song. Then we started doing it all the time to get business up -- we'd just jump up on the bar and pour shots down people's throats.
PB: How racy would you get?
BR: Some girls would kiss occasionally, but we'd just move in more of a sensual way....
PB: What bar is this again?
BR: [Laughs] It's called Rhino's. One time we actually had two bartenders get a little out of hand. They both had boyfriends, but I think they were both a little bisexual. They were just pleasing each other a little too much, I think....
PB: We're sure the guys in the bar weren't complaining. So what's your favorite drink?
BR: A shot called "chocolate cake." It's Absolut and Frangelico. You suck on a lemon first with sugar on it, and then you do the shot. It seriously tastes like chocolate cake. You have to try it if you haven't had it!
PB: You had to stare at a lot of naked models during art classes in college. What's your favorite part of the male anatomy?
BR: I've always been attracted to a guy's shoulders and arms, both in and out of class. If he's got nice shoulders and arms, I'm pretty set.
PB: You're also a photographer. What was it like going from the person creating art to the other side of the camera, as the model?
BR: I think it made me more relaxed and more comfortable as a model. I took a bigger part in the producing part of my shoot than a lot of models do. I have such an interest for both sides. One day I would like to work as a producer for a magazine -- I'd love to work for Playboy.
how is sarah these days?:thumbsup
