I wonder how much it would cost to insure a house like that. Incase of vandal, fire, theft, or bad weather. probably at least $500,000 a year on insurance alone

And Bill Gates spent over $100 Million to build his house on Mercer Island. The Sultan of Brunei's pad is a monster as are most of the Saudi Royal estates which have real gold practically everywhere you look.
