good, bad, ugly?

I was checking some flight prices from Europe to Caribbean ... and it seems that they cover all flights with the best prices

but never heard about them

I'll appreciate any info

They are fine. nothing great nothing bad on my long flights with them.

well i flew with them,from uk to canada ,via usa ..flight was ok and the plane was ok,but they wanted to charge for beer and it wasnt a cheap ticket,its the first time on a long haul flight from a major airline( ie not a cheap package holiday) i have taken about 60) that i have been charged for beer, anyway i had 4 bottles of bud in my bag from before i got on the flight,so i thought id drink them .......then hell broke loose lol,they basically said buy it from us or you cant drink ///i said fuck you if you think im gonna give you 4 us$ a bottle when i have 4 here ,you can think again lol ,anyway i drank my 4 and they didnt bother me about it.
so in a nutshell ,ill stick to british airways,air france,air canada etc,were you get all the free drinks inc wine etc that you want ......

They're good. On any U.S. domestic flight that isn't first class you usually have to pay for alcohol. It's usually 4 or 5 bucks. International flights, however, often have free drinks. That's the key. And to the guy who brought beer on the plane and thought he could drink it. Duh. You can't do that. Do you think you can bring your own beer into a bar and drink it? Hell no. It's courtesy to the bar (and in this case the airline). Cry all you want, they own the fuckin plane.

COntinental is the best American major airline IMHO. If you are on one of the larger planes it is always pretty comfortable.

If you are going to Europe you should check for prices on Virgin Air or Singapore Air which are the best. Both fly from NY to different european destinations.

Let put it this way, I am in Chicago (more or less) and fly out of O'Hare, United is the hometown airline, but when I fly, as much as possible I do it with Continental Airlines.

I don't think in the last five years I have flown with anyone else but Continental, or code share airlines. You just can't go wrong flying with them.

One bit of advice I leave you all with, make it a point to apply to the frequent flyer program with every airline you fly with. When you make elite status with one airlines' program, drop a note to the others you fly with and see if they will make you a member of their elite flying program. More likely than not they will send you their frequent flyers card and include all the little freebies along the way.

abbie ,the uk to usa is an international flight duhhhhhhhh,as i said before ,i have taken over 60 international flights (thats afew id say) on BA,KLM,air france,cathy pacific.etc and i repeat again have never had to pay for a drinks exept with 2 continental flights....tight bastards hehehhe.....who would i rate the best well most airlines offer great service but my top 5 would be BA,Air france,Cathy pacific,KLM ,Quantas

Continental is the best US carrier.

I have status on several airlines, Continental is my favorite. I'm on my third year platinum on CO and I'm almost halfway to platinum for 2005. They are rarely the cheapest.

they don't promise grand things but deliver on what they do deliver on. If you are flying from the US to Europe these days with them though you are likely to put on a code share. So, you can have a Continental flight number but could (depending where you are flying from) be on a Virgin plane or Air France (happened to me but they are a good airline too).

Also, from a travel agent's perscpective they were always the most simple to deal with on a daily basis.

Continental had great 1st class service from Miami to Curacao. I flew with Sleazydream and we were both amazed by the quality of service we got. Much MUCH better than any Canadian Airline I have ever flown on.

I have flown almost exclusively on Continental for the past 7 years. First and Business is great....and the on time performance for me has been exceptional
Similiar to VirtuMike, been platinum the last 4, and 95% of the flights get me an upgrade

I would have no reason not to fly them Internationally, as the code share partners with the EU are all good airlines too.

Hi Niki,

My family just left for Europe flying Continental.

I've alwyas heard great things about Continental Airlines. They were very happy with the flight prices, etc. Long flights because we are from Southern CA.

I hope it works out for you because my family and others I've spoken to always speak very highly of Continental Airlines.
