Do the cats and the bird get along??

My bird is always trying to either bit the tail or ears of the dogs. It is actually funny.

But the bird walks around the house on the floor all the time yelling lookout! and the dogs just keep an eye on her and that is it.

Pookie talks ALL THE TIME. He answers the phone before you do, and even picks up on the conversation pattern. If the phone rings, he says something like this:

"Hello? Oh, hi! Yeah. Uh huh. Hahahahhaha! Yeah. Uh huh. k bye!"

That includes appropriate pauses for the other person to talk. You never realize how predictable you are until someone predicts you!

We would never promote the breeding of hybrid animals such as Bengal Cats, Chausis, Savannahs etc... We have seen far too many Bengals, that people paid up to $3000.00 for, who were free to a good home when they matured. They are confused as to whether they are wild or domestic and typically have horrible medical problems. The most common in Bengals (it is more common to have it than not) is irritable bowel disease, which means a life of projectile diarrhea.

Perhaps the worst thing is the use of the very rare Leopard Cats in the hybridization process. Promoting these cats and their offspring as pets has caused them to be viewed as common and therefore the zoos are no longer participating in plans to save them in the wild. The Leopard Cat is an endangered specie and should be regarded with the respect that is due a vanishing breed.

My boyfriends mom has an African Grey named Taz and he is the most hilarious thing! He calls the dogs and all you hear all day is Come here Gretchen, Come here Molly, Come on doggies. Then he whistles and they are looking around like wtf? but he is learning alot more words and he even mimmicks the security alarm. He says BEE BEEP BEEP back door. They are very bright and smart animals. They have a vocabulary of about 7500 words when they are trained properly. That's more than most humans know.
