Verotel to go the way of Globill?

I have seen many people saying Verotel is next to go down. What do you think? Discuss.

i would be very surprised if they did... it seems their business might actually have some very good chances at real growth due to the hurdles placed upon the US-based processors of late. i wouldn't think any webmasters would *want* more processors to fold up at this stage..

My feeling on this is that they will stay. I know they have a significant investment in a new department to deal with the IPSP rules and that everyone is becoming compliant.

If Verotel were being shut down why would they bother.

Globill as I recall gave Visa the finger and said the rules didn't apply to them. And look what happened.

Did anyone file a claim with Globill and get paid? I figured I would never get paid so I didn't even bother to send the claim in.

Yea I lost some money too. Not a whole lot, but I also didn't return the form. I knew I'd never see that money.....

So what happened with all that money Globill didn't pay out?

Those bastards.

I filed the claim with globill and never got shit, those fucks were out to rob us from day 1 and we were too greedy and stupid to beleive it.

As far as verotel goes...they can imvest tons in being compliant and doing things correctly but if they cant even get the password management thing right they shouldnt even bother. Im glad i got away from them as my primary billler, since the lack of professionalism over there is abundant.

Hell I havent had anything work correctly with them in months and emails go unanswered and cummunication with them is almost impossible unless you call them and hound their asses...
Finally someone emailed me and told me he would look into all my problems, that email was received and replied to on January 27th.
I have not received a reply since then.

verotel...

Verotel are suspending more and more accounts every day and are not answering emails and refuse to give assistance on the phone.

Every day another webmaster says their account has been suspended.

I think they landed themselves in the shit, they tried one thing to get out of it, that didn't work and now they're scrambling around trying to find a solution to stop their bank pulling the plug on them.

What happened to the multiple banking relationships, the 3rd party account for funds so webmaster's money was safe... the fact they didn't have to charge fees......etc

Their own recklessness and greed (they got their 3 minute warning with dutchbilling.com) has put them on the line and they are screwing webmasters left right and center.

svenski, i don't think i've seen any webmaster reporting that their site was suspended lately aside from those who go hit for the "modeling" sites, or the past promotion of the same... they've been generating *very* good sales lately, especially for us "Pro" users from what i understand..

Sorry for bringing an old thread back.

Was busy trawling (lack of search function) for a thread for femdom content producers and I saw it and had to post.

I haven't seen anyone on GFY say their account has been suspended recently but have done on the other boards - latest was 2 days ago.

I don't think they're going anywhere. With this new ticketsclub.com
to weed out the problem clients, and $1500.00 charge to anyone
that seriously wants to deal with them.

...they're feeding the big 3. $1500 no F'ing way,
hello CCBill and backup for the same price.

some of us were fortunate enough to be selected as "Verotel Pro" merchants last month, no $1500 and all dues paid up into '06 i believe..
