i dont think its possible at all. With virtual dub you can convert anything, but you cant convert RM because its copyrighted by realmedia.

how about rm to avi?
http://www.boilsoft.com/rmconverter.html it still needs that realplayer spyware/crapware installed to work. also slow as fuck, but it does work.

If you go on IRC there are like 10 different sofwares called AVI TO RM TO MPG etc ... weird names .
Maybe try searching download.com for it too
