Beef Bacon

okay so I had this for the first time (hey I come from a family where pork is okay) yesterday and I have to say I like it better. Is it hard to get?

no it was at a milkshake bar in London and it was on the menu as 'Kosher Beef Bacon'. It was sliced like 'normal' bacon but was beef AND it was REALLY good.

In the Philippines, we have a version of bacon using beef. Basically, it is cured in sugar/pineapple juice and left to marinate. After frying, it is a beef version of bacon--sweet, tender, and juicy but you avoid pork.

could have been it...it had a bit of a sweet (but not sickly) taste.
