Epassporte - this is strange...

DEL RAY INN, INC charged me for $0.01 yesterday. Wtf is this? Someone else get this too each month?

Option A: You used your card to secure a reservation at the Delray Inn hotel and they charged you 1 cents to verify if your card is a real one.

Option B: some motherfucker got a hold of your card # and is checking to see if your card is real, they are using a non descript name like DEL RAY INN, INC to make sure it does not raise red flags from credit card companies who are used to hotel and car rental companies checking credit card in that way.

If it option A, then no worry, if it's option B, YOU'D BETTER GET ON THE PHONE WITH EPASSPORTE BEFORE THEY EMPTY YOUR ACCOUNT

I have not used the card for a reservation so I will contact epassporte to see whats up. Not that I have much money in my account, but I will do anything to stop idiots that is trying to scam people...

STILL waiting for ePassporte to put the password on the same
page as the login. It's only been 4-5 months.

As it stands, if a user assumes they already have an account, and
enters a username that already exists. They will be sent to a
dead end. They'll get another page which assumes they have
entered the correct details, and unless they notice the address in
the dropdown they'll try entering a password a number of times
before leaving without spending any money.

I spoke to the development staff and they saw that this was a
problem, after some work on my part trying to explain to them
that users don't know every inner working of their code.

Seems ePassporte likes the smell of shit they have their head so
far up their ass.

how you never ever answer anyones questions on the boards
but make it appear as if you're actually giving customer service.

How many more months before someone puts in the 10 minutes
to make the join form like EVERY other site out there?

You know there is a reason why every site that works like yours
puts the username and password on the same page. It's really
not that fuckin hard to understand why.

Just for those wanting to checkout what I mean....

Use an ePassporte shopping cart....

Now try to find the join link.... :-)

What's that? There is only ONE TINY "click here" link?? What
about if you enter the wrong password? Does it give you
a "forgot password" + "register here" links? What's that? No it
doesn't? hmmm.... Very odd.... I would have thought anyone with
half a brain would make their form usable.

if you want to hear about fucked, then listen to this......I havent gotten my card from them yet, they sent it over 1 month ago.....I have a couple of $1000 on the account now and id like to make a withdrawal......but when I look in the members account now i se that they have fucked up my adress so bad that i can understand I havent gotten the card, so what do i do I call epassporte, they tell me THEY CANT CHANGE MY ADRESS! I should turn to my sponser that got me the account, so I talk to ARS, they say thats fucked up, they cant change my epassporte adress......and so it goes......3rd time I called them they said they could change it if i faxed over copies of my drivers license and my passport, they also wanted a signed paper from me with my new adress.......so im gonna do this, lets see what excuse they have for not changing my adress after ive done that.......

why dont u just make a new account or ask a good friend if u can transfer the $ to his account so he can make withdrawal and give the cash to you?

Nicky, we do have a less than ideal system in place for changing addresses and both fraud control and tech are working together to come up with a suitable alternative, in the meantime we do have to be able to verify your identity. Do me a favor and keep me posted on the situation, if we don't get you taken care of after you send in the docs, I'd like to know about it.

Did you actually ask me to do something for you and I didn't get it done? I'm a little bit confused here... pretty much everyone who's ever been on the phone or in email correspondence with me about a problem has gotten it resolved very quickly... once the search feature's back up, we can have a look into it if you feel we need to

We can also search for the number of times I've said that we're not perfect and we always welcome input and feedback from users. That doesn't mean we will always make the changes that people ask for, sometimes we can't -- there may be rules or regulations from the bank or the card associations that prevent it, or it may not be in the best interests of ePassporte as a whole.

I understand your concerns but if you haven't addressed them with me directly then please don't make statements regarding what I do or don't do for folks. And if you haven't addressed them with me directly, then by all means drop me an email and we can discuss anything you'd like
