You and I have very different ideas of what a "big" bomb is. 500 lb bombs are used all of the time. These are fucking bottle rockets compared to the 15,000 lb daisy cutters we were using against the Taliban... Not to mention the 25,000 lb MOAB! Only seen that one tested. And of course, the biggest of all will not be used any time soon. (by the USA, at least).

You're right, the actually explosive load on a 500lb bomb is (relatively) small, especially compared to some of the bunker busters that were commonplace at the beggining oof the conflict. Just further proof that this guy is on crack :1orglaugh

If you read the news you will see that more coalition forces(US plus allies) were killed in the last few days than were killed in the begining when Sadam and the republican guard were still in charge making this the <font size=4>bloodiest week</font> so far in the history of the Iraq war and that's all I was predicting. I was predicting an escalation in the killings and anyone who can't see that has happened is just blind or doesn't read the news or in some stupid state of denial.

Mortars, claymores, land mines, artillery shells etc... are all bombs and they all weigh less than 100lbs. These bombs can all be delivered by ground troops to the target because they are not "Big Bombs". The simple fact that a plane is used to deliver a bomb is because it is fucking big. When's the last time you called a 500lb man a little MoFo? The airforce has an array of 100-200 pound bombs that they drop all the time and much more frequently then 500 pound bombs. You think I'm wrong; but you are just fucking stupid.
