Because Beneton at that time was part of the elite... wake the fuck up.. How good was Barichello before being with Ferrari.. how good was Irvine before being with Ferrari! Once with Ferrari... they were suddenly the second best next to shumacher... Villeneuve owned Shumachers ass when both had similar race cars...

If schumi was to drive a diferent car I bet you it will be a completely diferent story.. without that ferrari it would be a whole harder for him to win races, he'll be just like Montoya always in second and third place trying to beat that hard to beat ferrari...

Come on Jenson Button!

Should be a good race, hoping Kimi does well from the back of the grid.

You seem to forget Ferrari hadn't won a race in like what 20 years before Schumacher came along and the second year with the team he won the championship...

Montoya is a good driver but he isn't in Schumacher's class..

I can't wait, looks like a good new track and from the qualifying session it should be a great race.

LOL

Schumi would kick everyone's ass as long as he is behind the wheel of a good car. I'd bet he'd be winning just as much if he drove a Williams, McLaren, or Renault.

He does not make dumb mistakes EVERY race like Montoya, Kimi, or Half. I like JPM, but how many times do I have to see him drive off the track in the first lap and blow his qualifying postions? You'd think he'd be able to hold off the Renault's at the start by now.

When he needs to pass, he passes other guys - and most of them shit their pants. He's a hard man, and he drives a hard race. He runs his own brother off the road at least once a year!

He's in another league - it's too bad Prost retired after his last title, and even more tragic that Senna died, as these guys had the balls to bitch slap Schumi when he was young. They could have had epic races had they continued to race one another.

WRONG WAY OFF THE LINE

Schumi started with Ferrari in 1996 he did not win the championship for Ferrari until 2000, he did however come second in 1996/97/98. 1999 he broke his leg at the British GP and sat out about 6 races.

Just thought I'd point that one out.

In my opinion Schumi will try and win every race this year from pole position, he has done just that so far and he sits on pole for Bahrain.

Last year, Williams had the better car, especially the last 2/3 of the season. They had the best engine, and the Michelin tires were better than Ferrari's Bridgestones. What did JPM do? 3rd? 4th?

Wait till Montoya gets to McLaren and he sees how there is Kimi, and then him.....way way way down the order of importance. Do you think McLaren will let JPM race their Golden Boy?

What did I say, Michael is out to get "pole" and the "win" on every race this year. What has he done so far, just that, he has nothing else to prove other than that. Apart from beating Senna's "65" pole's which I think he will do.

Dont knock the guy, if you where as sucsessfull in porn as he is in F1 then you aint got any complaints

MOO

Another perfect race run by Schumi. Take away locking up the fronts into Turn One, and the guy was flawless.

Another bonehead drive by his brother - you'd think he'd stop trying to chop guys who are driving next to him by now. How many crashes/bumps does he need to have before it sinks in that this is not a good move?

Montoya showed again that he is too much of good driver for that weak BMW that crippled on him again... He was third untill that piece of shit broke on him again for like the millionth time... point proved machines make a diference...

So what, he was 15-20 seconds behind Schumacher before the car shit itself anyway. Before the car died, it was a battle with Button for podium, he wasn't even near 2nd place let alone 1st.

Montoya may be (MAYBE) the fastest driver, but he's certainly not the best.

The best driver will get to the finish line.

To all the people who rely on "if", get real, the present reality is NO ONE is near the Ferraris.

I hate Schumacher, but he's the most consistent driver, and with the best car, that equals success.

Btw, to the Montoya fan, get ready for a very long season. Right now, I think Renault is closer to Ferrari than Williams.

I think racing is 51% driver and 49% the car. Most of the motors are competiive but it's still a battle of the mind. It wouldn't be a sport if humans weren't involved.

I think Schumi is a good driver but I would like to see someone else win besides Ferrari. The ratings would drop like flies if Ferrari dominates like that one year.
