Networking guys? Online Gammers??....

Problem.

I wan't to play socom2 online...I have the online adapter..but from my Cable modem/Router to my PS2 the cable is longer then 25 feet..PS2 says no more then 25 feet...I called up my Cable comp and they said they can see my MAC address for the adapter..PS2 Tech said "we can't help you online networking is not our service" "You have to have it under 25feet" Can't I use like a hub to boost the packets/signal?...

btw it's about 100 feet of cable from the networking room to my game room..
