Considering that IKEA is a privately held company, nohahahaha can accurately say what the company is worth, so I don't see how they think they can accurately guess the guys wealth. Microsoft is a public company and at any time anyhahahaha can see how many shares Bill Gates owns so it's much easier to gauge his wealth.

All those lists are straight off their stock holdings value. Its said that Gates has 10-20Billion outside of M$ which is never accounted for in those lists of the richest people.
