i dont think it matters what the majority of people think about someones logo its what the company/owner feels about it that it matters the most.. We Gfyers are not going to see that logo everyday on our company...

Okay ive seen some nice ones here...... llabtaem - this is good.

Persius - I dont much like the logo font or girl emblem but I *do* like the effects of the skyline.

Some great work TheDiablo. This one would need some modification to fall in line with the rules but I love the emblem bit on there. I think people would remember this on banners etc.

The letters are nice and chunky - indicates solidity and quality. Its simple. It looks good. Its effective and congratulations because its the best I have seen so far.....

Im just pointing out for print, images used should be vector art or at high res. Logos should be 2 color process. Unless your planning on paying full color printing fee's as well as creating problems for 2 color process publications and future print application.

Further more alot of the blending and tranparent overlays I see wont work for exsample the art BlackMonster is providing wont work well for say, newspaper or tshirts and so on. Theres classy and theres PSD layer effects.. "classy = no bells and whistles" :ak47: :warning

(1) No, I cannot pay winners via any other method than Paypal (as per intro post).

(2) Yes, I am liaising with my client on this all the way as it would not make any sense not to.

(3) Yes, we are keeping a note of responses given by other GFYers. Their views are not decisive but they may help or be persuasive in some small way.

(4) There is no telling when we will choose the winners - it could happen as soon as this weekend or at any time on or before April 20th 2004 (as per intro).
