What happened to the days where a man was a man, taking charge, taking care of his woman, being the master of the house? I can tell you from experience that a man like that is almost impossible to find.

Ya see I am one of those "Suckers" that pay the whole way for my lady. I do not mind it but then again there is a part of me that says "Get the fuck off your ass and do somthing"

I didn't take it in a harsh way AlienQ.. but I don't agree with the woman sitting on her ass not doing anything all day either, I think both should put their all into a relationship to make it good. But someone has to be in charge.. you can't have both making final decisions on everything, it just doesn't work in my opinion. The perfect man in my way of thinking is one who can take the lead and manage things. This doesn't mean that either one doesn't need to work, just the opposite, both need to do their parts, but with the man at the helm. I see women in this role more and more, they run everything in the household, and the man is reduced to being one of the children.

This can be part of the reason.. but why did women want to be in the work force to begin with.. could it be because men quit taking an active role in the family structure ..many more divorces and children being born out of wedlock to loser dads who refused to take responsibility.... I just call it taking care of ones own.. If women would have kept the "stay at home with the kids and let dad be the breadwinner " attitude.. there would be alot more starving kids and weak women living off the government...why have it like that...can't blame this all on women..that is just fucking lame..lol

My husband is a very dominant man. He wants things his way or the highway. We've had issues over that, and with both of us having Alpha personalities, things can get somewhat interesting at our house.

But when it comes down to it, he's the man of the house. I may well be able to do things in my way and do things that i think would be interesting/fun/whatever, but when the bills come due, he pays them from the money I earn. (right now, I'm putting him through college. Back when we got together, I had no job, so he paid everything and was GOD)

He and I have strong feelings about a woman's place in the home. But we also have strong feelings about sharing the load. Right now, I work, he does the housework. It's only fair. (Which would explain why my house looks like a train wreck.)

When he works, I do the housework. As it is, I do the laundry so that we have clean clothing, otherwise it wouldn't get done.

I was raised to be a strong woman, independant and capable. But my grandmother also raised me to know that when I married, I became a housewife. It is a man's home, and it is my place to go where he goes as he sees fit.

I may not be a doormat, but I do know that I'm happy with a man who knows how to keep me in check. Trust me, it takes a strong man to do that.

(Here's where things get funny: I'm a Domme. Any man who wanted to marry me had to be stronger, both physically and emotionally than I. I can't stand more than a couple of hours at a time in the presence of pussies.)

If I let my man have all the final decisions..I would be broke poor and miserable in my relationship and would probably kill the fucker for his insurance money to get out of the debt he put me in..lol. My man is horrible at money decisions and acts like a child with a checkbook and the money never runs out...he is on the other hand.. a very take charge kind of guy..just not where the $$ is concerned... i like it 50/50 in my relationship
