I don't know where are these type-ins coming from..., I mean, who would type in safesearch.com in their browsers...?
Perhaps it was a popular site before...? Anyway, I doubt anyone will by it only for the traffic. This name is brandable for sure, mostly for a mainstream company that introduces a children safe internet ( hurting our business in the same time though ).

I checked the "Hosting" stats on Fabulous.com (a nice redirection system -- highly recommended, if you're not already with them), and in the past 7 days about 8 hits/day did come from Google or other search engine traffic (looking for "safesearch"), confirming it's mostly type-in traffic. Overture has decent values for the term, too: February: safe search -- 1093 safesearch -- 51 safesearch.com -- 107 Using the "Country of Origin" of visitors in Fabulous, USA -- 45% Canada -- 13.64% UK -- 8.93% Australia -- 6.66% Sweden -- 3.9% India -- 2.76% Germany -- 1.46% .... I can include SafeShops.com in a package, too. Would make a great combo, certifying various online shops as "safe".
