The new N.E.R.D. CD rocks!...

They getting bigger and bigger every year.

Indeed. This CD is the shit - but it didnt hit me like tha 1st one did.

You know I saw these guys live 2 weekends ago and they totally sucked. It was a "group concert" and they happened to be on the play bill, what a total shit band!

They arent really expert musicians, I forget who is on guitar but he learned like 1 year ago, its mostly an independent rock project that just gets a lot of media attention because as the neptunes they make crazy tracks for everyone.

If it werent for them being producers this record wouldnt get anywhere near the attention it has, so with that, gotta take it with a grain of salt.

Or just call it experimental

dude, they have made hit songs for Jay-Z, Snoop, Clispe, Britney spears, Justin Timberlake, and many more.

That's exactly what I said, but N.E.R.D != (does not equal) The Neptunes.

They have made hit records with those people as producers for their tracks. N.E.R.D is their independent efforts to not just produce tracks for people, sing backup, or hooks, but make their own music and sound.

I love the work they do as the Neptunes, but as N.E.R.D. I'm not crazy about all of their stuff.
