I think it's ok to post the material. If people want to see it than it's there. The ethics of it can be debated forever.
The newsbroadcast didn't actually say posting the video was racist. It said that the video was posted under a racist headline on the website.
Did the headline read something like "Coon kills himself"? Again, I suppose it's fine but it will definitely receive added reaction because some would find that offensive.
It's also in the news because it was surveillance camera supposedly illegally obtained. And it brings in the larger ongoing issue of the Right to Privacy for citizens in America as they were discussing near the latter portion of the broadcast.
