knowing when to stay the fuck out of each other's way.

Hubby's computer actually caught on fire this morning (small but killed it) and he has been spending most of the day setting up the new computer we HAD to go get - he is the server computer.

A lesson to any newly married people: when you other half is swearing up a blue streak of stress related words just stay out of their way.

im not married but been with my commonlaw for 12 years
a couple things we do is we never go to bed angry.
we discuss any problems we have before we retire.
Secondly, we take a break from life once a week to
get out and have some fun.
you only live once, make it worthwhile.

We have the same policy here. It makes for some sleepless nights when you're up all night talking, but it really helps in the long run to make sure no one problem becomes too huge to handle.
